____________________________________________________________________ Victoria has been granted 5,000 skilled visa nomination places by the Australian Government for the 2024-25 program year. The allocation is divided as follows: Skilled Nominated visa (subclass 190): 3,000 places Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) visa (subclass 491): 2,000 places Priority may be given to certain occupations within key industry sectors, including: Early childhood, primary, secondary, and special education teachers Renewable energy Health Information Communication Technology (ICT) Social services Advanced manufacturing Infrastructure Hospitality and tourism (specifically for the 491 visa) More information on eligibility requirements and program dates will be published soon.
